Ah! They show my worst nightmare over and over on that video. I absolutely HATE bus drivers that pass a cyclist only to stop <200ft later. They might get there 2 seconds faster, but it inconveniences the rider much more since they either have to now stop for 1 minute, or merge into traffic. Just let the bike stay in front, please!
ReplyDeleteI do media/camera/message training as part of my job and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the performance of these two presenters. I don't live in Chicago or encounter many buses, but I watched the whole thing and found it very informative.

Chicago is becoming a fairly good city to cycle in. This video created by the CTA is proof of the city's acknowledgement of cyclists on the street.
