Tuesday afternoon bicycle news

Bunch of worthwhile stuff from WIRED "Gear Factor" blog:
  • Cycle law: Should bikes be treated like cars?
  • Radio Shack rebranded as "The Shack". I think they're talking about BGW here (the cool part that is, because he is cool: " It’s almost embarrassing, like seeing your grandfather listening to an iPod and riding a single speed track bike. Wait, that actually would be cool."
  • Danger: Handlebar mounted cup holder. I'm puzzled by Charlie Sorrel's dislike of this product: I carry hot coffee in a handlebar cup holder all the time.

    ...hey, ya think they'll invite me to race 'le tour' w/ 'em...oh, well...but i guarantee you, you'll never see me riding a bike while using an i-pod...pet peeve, dumb move, don't care who ya are...
