LIVESTRONG Production Coordinator
o Develops, plans and implements local logistics, including:
o working with Route/Site Manager on development and permitting of event routes; selection, development and securing of major event sites;
o procurement and permitting of rest stops and grab-and-go stops;
o solicitation and securing of jurisdictional support;
o all other non-infrastructure-related components.
o Develops and drafts complete plans to satisfy the route and site parameters, including vehicle traffic and parking, and delivery and placement of supplies, structures and assets;
o Communicates, works with and supports local team in event city.
o Works with Recruitment Coordinator to coordinate the execution of volunteer efforts and event specifics.
o Work with Visio and other technology as adopted by the team;
o Outlines and orders the needed food, services, heavy equipment, vehicles, communication equipment, and expendables, specifically by;
o Working with Route/Site Manager and Purchasing to order items, supplies, vehicles, and equipment not used nationally;
o Working with Purchasing to interface with needed vendors; and
o Developing the on-event deployment plan of said items.
o Establishes relationships with local authorities and emergency personnel and educate them event plan and emergency response;
o Will travel to other LIVESTRONG event cities to assist with event execution.
o Performs other duties as assigned by Event Planning and Execution Manager.
o Takes direction from Route/Site Manager.
o Reports to Event Planning and Execution Manager.
Qualifications:
o Must have impeccable attention to detail.
o Must be able to adapt and overcome when faced with adversity.
o Must have previous event planning/production experience.
Event Cities include Austin, TX, Denver, CO, New England (Hartford, CT), Portland, OR, and Southern California (Orange County). Event travel is required. Position is home-office based within 50 miles of the event city.
