Most of you know who Samuel Alito is. Jane Dolkart is one of over 500 professors of law who signed a petition opposing Alito's nomination to the Supreme Court.
Does anyone in the bicycling community remember what Jane Dolkhart is also know for? She's the SMU law professor who was convicted last June of intentionally ramming a cyclist with her VW Passat. She paid a small fine and received probation for her crime but is currently appealing her conviction.
Okay I know, whatever. I figure Kiril would get a chuckle out of this news, anyway.

I an understand how you must feel about this. Our Australian women's cycling team was out on a training ride in Greiz in Germany last year, when a teenage motorist crashed into them injuring 5 cylcists and killing one. What happened to the motorist? She has to pay a 1440 euro fine and has had her driving licence revoked for 8 months. That's what an elite athletes life is worth .... 1440 euro (about $2000 AUD).
