Biking on ice

Lucas Brunelle and his buddies shows us how it's done on the Charles River in Boston back in 2004.

  1. It's fun, but best of all it's really safe.

  2. Is there a way to know for sure how thick the ice is before one ventures there? I wonder whether if sections of the river/ice underneath the bridges are not as hard-iced as the others? Kinda cool but scary.

  3. @Jack: I've lived in icefishing territory before. You drill to measure ice thickness.

But these guys probably just saw the other people playing on the ice and decided to go for it :-)
