Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes

The 71-mile, asphalt Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes runs across north Idaho, mostly along the Coeur d’Alene River and Lake. It was built for public use but with no public money and a permanent trust fund pays for maintaining the trail.
