These signs (or similar) are seen throughout San Francisco, California. A white, rectangular regulatory sign with similar wording has been proposed for approval for use state wide in California.

That should be true for all lanes!
ReplyDeleteYes, lets see this everywhere!
ReplyDelete=v= Under current California state law it is true for lanes of substandard width, which means not wide enough for a bike and car to travel side-by-side, safely. This describes nearly every lane in San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteI like this better than the "Share the Road" signs. This says that bikes have every right to use the road; pass them as you would a car. Period.
